INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

We meet with each new client to gain a thorough understanding of his or her needs and risk tolerance level. Once we have determined the most suitable strategy, we then assign the client to one of our six portfolios. Although the portfolios each assume a different level of risk, our investment style is generally conservative.

We also review a new client’s existing portfolio to determine if the current holdings are in line with the objectives we have set. If we believe some of the investments are sound, we leave them. Otherwise, we advise the client about ways to sell holdings, taking taxes into account.

The investment committee typically meets monthly – more often if the markets are turbulent – to review each portfolio’s holdings. All investment decisions are made through the committee.

As a client, you will be assigned a planner and planner assistant who will always be available to answer your questions. In addition, most clients meet annually with their planner to review investment performance and to track their progress in meeting their goals.
